Aboriginal Affairs NSW provides a range of grants to eligible organisations and groups based in NSW or working with Aboriginal communities in NSW.

All open round grant programs, including NAIDOC Grants, will be published on the Aboriginal Affairs NSW website

This portal is powered by SmartyGrants and enables you to apply online for available grants. The system is user friendly, registration is simple and the completion of our online forms is supported by instructions, hints and a question guide.

COVID-19 Aboriginal Community Organisations Grants Program

Interested applicants must contact their closest Aboriginal Affairs NSW office or the COVID team to discuss their project idea. 

Once you have discussed your idea, and if you are eligible to apply, Aboriginal Affairs NSW will open an application for you to complete online in SmartyGrants. You will be sent a link by email notifying you that you have access to your COVID-19 Aboriginal Community Organisations Grants Program Application. You will then have 21 days to complete and submit your application for assessment.
